Item ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN SATELLITE IMAGERY ANALYSIS(American University Kyiv, 2024-10-23) Putrenko, ViktorArtificial intelligence is effectively used in processing space images for pattern recognition tasks in the tasks of classification and detection of objects. The use of artificial intelligence and remote sensing technologies can significantly facilitate and speed up the process of monitoring spatial objects. Neural networks have a powerful potential in recognizing and localizing objects from images based on deep learning technologies. Using these technologies in conjunction with geospatial tools can help create an effective remote sensing information system.Item OVERCOMING THE CHALLENGES OF LARGE-SCALE AI DEPLOYMENT(2024-10-22) Bass, LenArtificial intelligence, for sixty years “right around the corner”, has actually turned the corner.. From early expert systems to today's sophisticated neural networks, AI has made significant strides in arecent years. However, the path to widespread AI adoption has challenges, both technical and organizational. My most recent book “AI Engineering with DevOps and Architecture” has recently moved into the production phase at Pearson Publishing. This talk will present what I believe are the most significant challenges to building large scale AI systems and highlight what I learned about AI while working on the book.
