Artificial intelligence, for sixty years “right around the corner”, has actually turned the corner.. From early expert systems to today's sophisticated neural networks, AI has made significant strides in arecent years. However, the path to widespread AI adoption has challenges, both technical and organizational.
My most recent book “AI Engineering with DevOps and Architecture” has recently moved into the production phase at Pearson Publishing. This talk will present what I believe are the most significant challenges to building large scale AI systems and highlight what I learned about AI while working on the book.
