Geospatial technologies and analysis of geospatial data are an important element in supporting management decision-making in territorial administration, land relations, ecology and the military sphere. From the point of view of software engineering and data science, the main challenges of processing spatial data are the use of a scalable web-based cloud architecture for big data processing, the use of artificial intelligence technologies and the design of virtual reality. The presentation will show the main directions and methods of processing spatial data and provide examples of problem solving.
